The table is 4.8m long and 1.1m wide constructed with timber bench tops to match floors and a 2.4m corian benchtop on brass tracks to roll from one end of the dining table to the other with only 2 supporting legs.
In order to achieve this structural steel was bolted between floor joists and then site welded posts had to be installed before the floor went down. The servery table was built on rollers to allow it to move from end to end.
